A photographer off the coast of Australia recently captured an incredible photo of a small fish swimming inside a jellyfish.

Tim Samuel posted the on Instagram on Tuesday. Samuel said he discovered the fish while freediving in Byron Bay. He said, at the time, he hadn’t known “how unique and rare” the sighting was.

He says he followed the fish around for about 20-30 minutes, and, despite the difficulties of focusing on such a small subject, was able to take a few more photos.

“The fish seemed to be struggling a little bit, as it would swim around, it would try to swim in a straight line but the jellyfish would knock it off course, would send it in little circles or loops.

“It was a tough decision, I definitely thought about setting it free, but in the end decided to just let nature run its course.”
