The Haulani Crater is an impact crater located on Ceres.
With a diameter of 21 miles (34 kilometers), the crater shows evidence of landslides from its rim. Smooth material and a central ridge stand out on its floor.
This enhanced color view of the crater allows scientists to gain insight into materials and how they relate to surface morphology. Rays of bluish are associated with young features on the dwarf planet.
The image was taken by NASA’s Dawn spacecraft at a distance of 915 miles (1,470 kilometers) from Ceres.
